Since 2005, the AKOUSMA concert series is devoted to all kinds of electroacoustic musics, in an attempt to echo the current concerns of composers who thrive to diversify their interventions in a frantic music world where practices are increasingly fragmented. AKOUSMA brings together renowned international artists and young local composers, in a wide range that stimulates very interesting esthetic clashes. The AKOUSMA series comes back in October every year at Usine C, in Montreal.
